The Parents Association

I have been associated with Al Sahwa Schools for approximately 14 years.

As a member of the Parent Association, I proudly serve as the chairperson of the Parent Association, working to strengthen collaboration between parents and the school community.

I am passionate about writing as a way to express thoughts and emotions, and I believe in the power of words to inspire and create meaningful connections. As President of the Parent Association, I am committed to fostering collaboration and understanding, and I strive to promote a culture of tolerance, love, and respect within our school community.

I have been associated with Al Sahwa Schools for 8 years. As a member of the Parent Association, I serve as a supportive link between parents, students, and the school administration.

I am a Chemistry Professor at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS). Through my academic background and experience working with students, I aim to contribute positively to the school community. I am particularly interested in supporting and helping resolve matters related to Grade 5 and Grade 7 girls, including addressing whole-class concerns that may need to be raised with the Principal.

In addition, I am happy to assist with any responsibilities assigned by the Principal, and to support students and parents in any way possible. I believe in open communication, teamwork, and creating a positive learning environment for all students.

One of my favourite quotes is from Howard Zinn: “Small acts, when multiplied by many people, can transform a community.”

I have been associated with Al Sahwa Schools for over 10 years as a parent, and I am also proud to be an alumna of the school.

I would be honoured to continue contributing to Al Sahwa Parent Association and to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and the school community to make a positive difference for our students and families.

I have been a parent of Al Sahwa Schools students since August 2024.

I have been appointed the secretary of the Parent Association.

I come from a business management background, I am a researcher and a Karate enthusiast.

I am excited to work closely with the school, parents and even students for the overall benefit of each of these stakeholders.
